Volunteering for South Central Community Transport

Here at South Central Community Transport, our Volunteers are the life blood of our organisation. It is through their generosity of time, their professionalism and dedication that we are able to provide a friendly, community orientated transport service.

Would you like to put something back into the community?

If the answer is yes! You could help us. We need voluntary minibus drivers to transport the following: Community, Voluntary and Educational groups, Individuals with mobility restrictions from our local community in our Minibuses (2 of which have wheelchair passenger access).

If you can answer yes to the following we would love to hear from you.

  1. Are you aged between 25-70 years of age and hold a valid UK Drivers Licence?
  2. Have you held a D1 category for 12 months or more on your UK Drivers Licence?
  3. Do you have less than 6 drivers points on your UK Drivers Licence?
  4. Would you like to work with a charity that supports local people in the local community?

In-house training will be given and all staff and volunteers are DBS checked.

If you are able to help please get in touch with Tom Ryan by ringing on 0151 703 0007 or emailing scct03@aol.com
