Following National guidelines in the relation to the spread of Covid19, our ‘Wheel Meet Again’ over 50’s project will be closed from Monday, 16th March 2020 until further notice. This is to minimise the risk of virus transmission within our communities and to safeguard staff, volunteers, members and the public.
We will be holding a staff meeting this afternoon to discuss ways in which we are able to assist with shopping for those most vulnerable, telephone checks and other courses of action to assist our communities.
We will be posting updates on our website: scctliverpool.com our facebook page: southcentralcommunitytransport Staff are available to take telephone calls 0151 703 0007 or answer queries by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
SCCT will still be offering a much needed and vital transport service for as long as is possible and safe to do so. To ensure the safety of our service users, all passengers will be asked to cleanse hands (using wipes provided by driver) before embarking on bus and to place soiled wipes in Ziploc bag (provided by driver). Buses will undergo a deep clean prior to pick up and on return, with weekly fogging of buses taking place so as to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.
We will of course continue to monitor the situation and follow direction given by the government and to take whatever action is necessary to protect the health of the communities we serve. Thank you for your understanding.
