Welcome to South Central Community Transport. We are a charity and a non profit organisation (charity number 1096317) based in the heart of Liverpool 8. Our 16 seater minibuses can be hired by anyone over 25 years of age who hold a valid UK driving licence with a D1 clasification for more than 12 months. Or you can relax on your journey and utilise one of our volunteer drivers who will take you to where you want to go.

A comfortable journey in a vehicle that is cleaned and disinfected to the highest standard. We use a “fogger” machine which kills 99.9% of bacteria prior to every trip. We strive to make you feel safe when you use our vehicles.
Experience
A relaxed journey in the knowledge that our vehicles are VOSA compliant, receive PSV standard inspections every eight weeks and tyres on our vehicles are less than 10 years old. Our vehicles are checked by our Transport Office prior to each journey.

Hi , Please could you email me with a timetable of weekly events for over 50’s. My husband has Parkinson’s disease, and I have arthritis, Fibromyalgia. We are interested in the events you are putting on and so too our friends in their 70’s we all love music, folk, jazz , blues, r & b, soul, Motown not rap! My friend Leni got MB E for Community work, sadly lives in a Riversidseflat . Maybe, we could 4 of us meet up for a course. MR. Thank you for your enquiry through our website, I hope the information below is of interest to you, your husband and friends.
We are an over 50’s project for people who are socially isolated and run weekly classes and put on at least one trip per month. For anyone interested in becoming a member of Wheel Meet Again they must be over 50 years of age, live within the Liverpool City Region postcode area. Whilst we try to accommodate everyone, we are not accepting members who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 due to the vulnerability of our members.
Costings
Membership is £5.00 for 6 months (or £10.00 for 12 months)
Classes range from free to £2.50
Trips – costings vary as it depends where we are going, ticket costs etc. However, a typical example is a trip to Bury Market will cost £8.00 (plus door-to-door transport if eligible).
Door-to-door transport is £5.00 to £6.00 (dependant on where the member lives). We do have wheelchair accessible buses (but if a member needs a wheelchair, they must be able to navigate themselves or come with a carer). Unfortunately, we are unable to transport members in motorised scooters as these vehicles are too heavy. We do not provide door-to-door transport for our IT/Job Club or Walking Group
Tea and coffee are available during class time (we ask for a small donation).
